How To Style Scarves

I've finally started listing some items in my vintage shop Tender Buttons! I wanted to do a post with suggestions on how to style scarves. I have some of my mom's old ones, like the first one pictured below, and while I always thought they were beautiful I had no real idea what to do with them until recently. Now that I'm selling scarves, I thought others might need some help figuring out what to do with them too! I'm pretty lazy when it comes to my hair so when I feel like dressing it up one of the things I'll do is throw a scarf in it. My go-to is simply to put it up in a messy bun and tie a scarf around the base as pictured below - depending on the scarf and my mood I may simply knot it or make a bow.

Another option is to decorate your handbag or purse, and then if you you are chilly or need to put your hair up later you have the goods right there!
