a couple of yesterday's finds |
I'm considering opening a vintage shop on Etsy. I think it will be little things for the most part. Little china dishes, jewelry, photos...
I'm thinking about the name Tender Buttons Vintage. I'm in love with the name Haven but it's taken (and as a vintage shop) so that's out. I love the phrase tender buttons - it's the title of a seriously different book (collection of poems? hard to describe!) by Gertrude Stein. I also think it would fit nicely as a name for a vintage shop. Thoughts/opinions on the name? I was also thinking of the name Bright Star Vintage, or Wild Eyes Vintage. I'd love to hear your input and any other ideas you may have!

Hmmm those are some good options! I like the words Tender and Star the best. But those are from two different titles. Tender Star? Haha. I think I like Bright Star the best though because it makes me think of some shiny little treasures to be found. Good luck, keep us posted!
Haha thanks Kerry :)
hey stina! i love the name tender buttons and i love it even more knowing it's a title of a book you like. it's a great name for a vintage shop. i do really like wild eyes too because it's a fun funky name. both names speak different things. i guess it depends on what you're going for? in my mind it's tender buttons for some sweet vintage treasures and wild eyes for some eclectic bold one of a kinds. just my opinion. either way, great unique names! good luck:) and can't wait til you open your shop!
Thanks Gale! And you are totally right bout the names, I think. Which makes me think even more that tender buttons is the way to go.
